What is Combination Skin & How To Treat It: Live That Glow

Is it dry skin, is it oily skin?  You may have heard of “Combination Skin” which is a mix of both oily and dry skin.  Usually forehead, nose and chin (known as the T Zone) are oily while cheeks drier in comparison.  This was discussed today in Live That Glow with Dr. Green – who notes that “Combination skin is a unique type of skin with patches of dry and patches of oily skin and presents a challenge for many.”

“Patients with combination skin will notice areas around their faces with characteristics of oily and dry skin,” and “they often have shiny skin and blackheads in the T-zone, which is associated with oily skin. Meanwhile, on the cheeks, they will have dull, potentially red skin, which is characteristic of dry skin.”
